Designed around the principle of experiential learning, the app allows users to physically perform each step of an oil change inside an immersive, branded virtual environment. Rather than targeting internal employee training, this experience is built for everyday consumers who want to understand the fundamentals of vehicle maintenance in a safe, guided setting.

The application combines realistic tool interaction, hand tracking, and structured voice-over instruction to walk users through the complete oil change process step-by-step. Users remove components, handle tools, drain oil, replace filters, and complete the procedure through natural hand motions. By requiring users to perform the actions themselves, the experience reinforces retention and builds confidence in a way that traditional videos or manuals cannot.

Unlike Customer XR’s operational training applications, which focus on workforce skill development, the Meineke experience highlights how XR can be leveraged as a customer-facing education and marketing tool.
